Her story
Earth, quartz and a cobalt sky.
Meena revived a kiln that had gone cold for a decade. Her blue pottery — fired without clay, from a paste of quartz and glass — carries the cobalt and turquoise of Rajasthan's palaces.
She now exports tableware to boutique hotels across Europe.
Heritage
Jaipur blue pottery is a Turko-Persian craft, distinctive for using no clay — a fragile, luminous art.
